Three Big 10 offers now on table

Rivals100 has been a big fan of Detroit Renaissance strongside defensive end Ronald Talley ever since he showed up at the Ohio Junior Day this past spring at Ohio State.
After a 100-tackle junior season, Talley has battled through injuries and dominated enough in the first four games of the season to earn a higher ranking and four new scholarship offers.

“I was offered by Michigan State two weeks ago and then Iowa just offered me last Wednesday,” Talley, who is a solid 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, said. “Those are the big ones right there. I was really hoping both MSU and Iowa would offer me. I also picked up offers from Bowling Green and Northwestern, too. I scored a 21 on my ACT, so that was enough to get the offer from Northwestern.”
Talley, a three-star prospect ranked as the nation’s No. 42 strongside d-end, said he knows that he’ll visit Indiana on December 5 and Iowa is another for sure destination. He will then decide between MSU, Northwestern, Louisville and several others for the final three visits. He has scholarship offers from all of the teams.
Not bad for a guy that has missed five games this season. Talley seriously hurt his angle in the fourth game of the season and has sat out since. His team still did qualify for the state playoffs and they’ll face Clintondale this weekend in the first-round of the state playoffs.
“I was cleared to play last week, but I knew that I wasn’t totally back to 100 percent,” Talley said. “But I’m going to lay it on the line this week and get back out there.”
