Three at top for juco receiver

Butler County (Kan.) Community College wide receiver Tyrece Gaines is one of the top junior college players in the nation and three schools are emerging at the top of his list as the month of December nears an end.
"Nothing new is going on," the 6-foot-2, 225 pound Gaines said. "Really, it is all just the same schools. The coaches at all of the schools, I have talked to all of them."

The schools in the hunt for the No. 8 ranked junior college prospect are Oregon, Ole Miss and Oklahoma.
"I don't have a favorite at this time from the three. I'm going to get the visits done before I make a decision."
Gaines took two official visits earlier in the fall one to Oklahoma (Nov. 21) and one to Ole Miss (Dec. 12), but the third visit to Oregon was postponed due to weather.
Gaines helped Butler to the NJCAA title hauling in 33 passes for 543 yards and nine touchdowns on the season.
