Madison (Miss.) Central wide receiver Tim Buckley is waiting to hear back from Southern Mississippi on a scholarship offer before he makes a final decision.
"I am still undecided," he said. "I will probably make a decision tonight or tomorrow."

If the Golden Eagles do not come through with a scholarship, Buckley will likely sign with either Jackson State or Alcorn State, both in-state Division I-AA schools. He has taken official visits to both.
"I should hear something from Southern Miss today," he said.

Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood offensive guard Matt Long has reached a decision about college.
"(Division I-AA) Georgia Southern had offered me a scholarship, but with the coaching change, they don't know who they can offer because of numbers," Long said. "They are supposed to be getting back to me in the next week."
Long, a two-star rated prospect, says that he is headed to Statesboro regardless.
"Even if they give me something, like a partial scholarship, I am going to Georgia Southern to play football," Long said. "If not, I will just go to Georgia Southern and be a regular student."

College Park (Ga.) Banneker quarterback Jason Rogers has committed to Division I-AA Alabama A&M.
"I liked the atmosphere and the coaches," Rogers said.
Rogers made an official visit to Alabama A&M the weekend of Jan. 20 and enjoyed his time, he added that one of the factors in his decision was a chance to play quarterback.
