Thorpe waiting for more offers

Athlete Justin Thorpe holds one BCS offer from the ACC. The 6-foot-1, 202-pounder out of Richmond (Va.) Varina is getting interest from numerous other Division I programs that are considering offering.
"I've got offers from Duke, Eastern Michigan, Richmond, JMU and Liberty," he stated. "I'm in contact with Virginia, Virginia Tech, Marshall, Connecticut and Rutgers.

"Basically all of them are saying the same thing. The tell me to let the season play out and the recruiting will take care of itself. I think they all want to see film so they can evaluate me."
Despite the offers, Thorpe maintains there are no leaders for his services at this time.
Earlier this month, the two-star prospect made a trip to Virginia Tech for the East Carolina game.
"It was a good experience," he stated. "I got to witness the crowd and adrenaline at the stadium. I went on the walk and met with recruits. I also hung out with a few of the players including Davon Morgan and Tyrod Taylor. Those are some cool guys."
Thorpe may take another trip in the coming weeks to JMU.
Most of the Commonwealth seniors focus is on the season as he has helped his team to a 2-1 record.
"We're on a two game winning streak and I think we can win the rest of our games," he said. "We're a young team that is gaining experience as the week's progress.
"I've been doing really well. My first game I rushed for 120-yards and a touchdown and threw for 295-yards and two touchdowns. In the second one I scored one touchdown and threw for 89-yards and ran for 47. The last game was raining, so we didn't pass that much. They also called two of my big runs back."
