Seattle (Wash.) Kennedy athlete Everette Thompson is one of the elite players in the West region this year. He recently cut his list down to three and will be setting up his official visits in the near future.
The last time we talked to Thompson, he had five schools he was pretty solid with but that list has now been cut to three.
"Washington, Oregon and Oregon State are my three right now," Thompson said. "Those are the three that have been recruiting me the most consistently and the three that I'm the most comfortable with.
"I've already visited each of them unofficially so I know what the campuses are like and how the set up is at each of them. My official visits will go a long way towards my decision because I'm looking for a place where I'll feel comfortable with everyone and I think when I'm on there, on my trip, I'll just get that feeling and know it's the place for me."
When we last spoke to Thompson, he mentioned that he was actually looking forward to leaving the state but he seems to have softened on that stance.
"I like all three of these schools and I'm open to each of them," Thompson said. "No one leads right now, like I said, my trips will go a long way and I'm looking forward to taking them so I can get a better feel for each of the schools."
