Thompson to visit Badgers, Gators

Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood Catholic tight end Colin Thompson is one of the region's most sought after prospects so schools are lining up to try and convince him to visit.
Thompson probably won't be making a decision for a while but the visits he takes during this stage of the process could prove decisive down the line.

Some of the schools recruiting the 6-foot-5, 255-pound prospect are so far away it might be difficult to visit them twice, at least before official visits. Visits now could be his only change to form an opinion of a school.
"I'm actually heading to Madison to see Wisconsin on (April) 16, next Saturday," Thompson said this weekend.
"After that I'm heading to Gainesville to see the (Florida) Gators. That will be the Wednesday after this coming Saturday, on (April) 20 or whenever that is."
Beyond that Thompson doesn't have anything planned.
"After those trips I'm going to make a choice on where I'll go from there," he said. "Probably after these visits I'll make a public top five.
Recently Thompson was planning on visiting Penn State but those plans fell through.
