"This is a tough decision, pretty tough because they are all great schools," Thompson said. "Coaches from all four schools are coming by this week."
He talked about what he liked about each of his finalists.
Florida: "Florida has a great environment and like everyone has a great school."
Miami: "Miami has the great history and nice people. I had a great visit there."
Ohio State: "Ohio State was cool, too. The coaches, the team, the people were all great."
USC: "USC was a wonderful visit and I enjoyed myself. The coaches and players were so laid back and down to earth, so that was cool."
Thompson visited each of his four finalists officially and also made a visit to LSU. Florida State and Clemson also were under consideration.
Thompson is the nation's eighth-ranked wide receiver prospect, is the No. 49 overall prospect nationally and is the state of Florida's ninth-ranked prospect.
He is a four-star rated recruit by Rivals.com.
