Thompson ready for long trip
"I've taken one visit, I went to Boston College," defensive end Ryan Thompson said. "I take one this weekend to Stanford."
"And I'm looking at Northwestern and Maryland."

"All four schools have offered me a scholarship."
"So far I like Boston College best. When I visited there I really liked it. I liked the players. I was impressed with how they handled themselves in their bowl game."
The 6-foot-4 and 240 pounder from Akron (Ohio) Hoban made over 50 tackles including 15 for losses during his senior season.
