Thompson Hopes For More Interest
Defensive end Markell Thompson had a solid senior season, but much of the recruiting process for Thompson may hinge on what happens on the academic front.
"I'm getting some interest, but not as much as I'd like," Thompson said. "I get letters from Wisconsin, Iowa, and Nebraska."

"But I think the schools are waiting for me bring my GPA up some and get a higher ACT score."
"The one school I'm real interested in is Wisconsin."
Thompson, 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds, registered 58 tackles including four sacks for White Fish Bay (Wis.) Dominican. He also caught 11 passes.
