Thomas taking his time

Three-star wide receiver Ian Thomas of Reistertown (Md.) Franklin has remained rather quiet during the spring, and will likely keep this approach through the summer. In the meantime he is busy preparing for his senior season.
"Recruiting has been good," said Thomas, who is 6-foot-1 and 193-pounds. "Things slowed down after the evaluation period and now I'm just looking forward to my senior season."

As mentioned, Thomas has not taken any visits recently and has no plans at this time for future visits. While he has no visits planned, a number of schools continue to show serious interest.
"BC, Rutgers, Vandy, Maryland, Notre Dame and Virginia are showing the most interest," said Thomas, who currently has over 20 offers. "I'm probably going to decide after my senior season, in December or January, but I may commit earlier if it feels right."
Thomas' next step is likely to trim his list of top schools.
"I would like to trim my list over the summer, but I don't have any favorites as of now," said Thomas, who is looking for a few specific things in a program. "I'm looking for a place I can have a shot to get on the field early, strong academics and good people."
Thomas also discussed how preparation is going for his senior season at Franklin.
"It's going great," said Thomas. "My trainer is getting me in tip-top shape and I'm just taking it from there."
