Lubbock (Texas) Cooper 2017 safety Ty Thomas has decommitted from the Washington State Cougars, and a decision could come in the very near future.
THE LATEST: The Washington State Cougars were one of the first to offer Ty Thomas, and he committed shortly after receiving the offer from the Cougars. However, Thomas decided he needed to re-open his recruiting process and made a call to the Washington State coaches Tuesday evening. He also holds offers from East Carolina, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.
IN HIS WORDS: From Thomas' father, Bart Thomas: "After careful consideration, Ty has decided to re-open his recruiting process. He is now considering his options."
WHAT'S NEXT: It looks like a decision could be coming in the next week or so. He just visited Oklahoma State and he has strong ties to Texas Tech. He is also receiving considerable interest from TCU and Kansas State.
