Thomas had a full schedule in Columbus.
"I liked the atmosphere and everything. I liked the stadium...and the coaches," Thomas said. "I went out with the players. Nate Salley was my host. And Dionte Johnson and Ted Ginn were with me.
"I talked to coach Tressel at the end. It went good."
Despite the good trip, Thomas did not commit and will take other visits.
"I'm still going to visit South Carolina next weekend and I have Florida Jan. 28. All of them are about even. I'll decide after I visit Florida."
The 5-foot-11, 165 pound Thomas is the No. 9 wide receiver prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 4 prospect in the state of Georgia. He caught 25 passes and scored 12 times in seven games this season.
