Thomas has a top five

New Smyrna Beach, Fla. wide receiver Latarrius Thomas made his name at the Miami NIKE camp dominating some of the top defensive backs in the South. He's picked up a nice list of offers and is starting to narrow things down.
"Louisville, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, West Virginia, Marshall, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, South Florida, Cincinnati and Central Florida have all been calling me this month," Thomas said. "I don't have any new offers, but Florida has really been showing a lot of interest lately and I think they might be close."

As a junior he caught 32 passes for 525 yards and nine touchdowns and averaged 16.4 yards per carry. On defense he collected 15 tackles and two interceptions.
"I have been to the Florida-Tennessee game this year and the South Florida-Louisville games so far," Thomas said. "The South Florida game was very interesting, I didn't expect that at all to be honest. I knew it would be a good game, but I didn't expect that. I thought I was going to get to see some fireworks out of Louisville, but South Florida just shut them down. I left early in the third quarter because the game was out of hand."
THe 6-foot-1, 191-pound Thomas attended the Miami NIKE camp where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds, the shuttle in 4.19 seconds and posted a 30-inch vertical jump.
"Tennessee, West Virginia, Florida, South Carolina and Louisvile would be my top five right now," Thomas said. "That list could change though, it's definitely not a list that is set in stone. I want to take my visits after the season is over with and go from there."
