Thomas going to see his favorite

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Linebacker Kadeem Thomas says his main focus is on the field during his senior season, where the Cougars have begun 3-0. In addition to the games, he is also working towards making a decision on where he will take his services. The three-star defender has set up his first official visit and it is scheduled for next weekend.
"I am going to Kentucky this coming Friday," Thomas said. "I am going for the Florida game. It is going to be an official visit."

The 6-foot, 230-pound rock of an inside linebacker has been keeping in regular contact with a Wildcat assistant coach.
"I have been dealing with Coach (Mike) Summers," Thomas said. "We have a pretty good bond. I really like him a lot. I really like what they are trying to do up at Kentucky. I am just ready to go up there and see what they are like."
At this stage of the process, Thomas says that the SEC program is in front for his services.
"Right now they are my top," Thomas said. "They are in the SEC and I want to play SEC ball. I just want to go somewhere that will help me become NFL-ready. They are also kind of turning their program around up there and I want to be a part of that."
Thomas indicated that if the official visit goes well, he may very likely pledge his services to Kentucky and end his recruitment.
In addition to Kentucky, Thomas says he is also looking at Illinois, Louisville, Massachusetts, and Pittsburgh at this time.
