Thomas favoring K-State
Things remain somewhat the same for Aldine, Texas safety Curtis Thomas. Still sitting on the same four scholarship offers, the first phone calls are starting to roll in for the talented young man.
Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, and Nebraska are the current offers in hand for Thomas. A few schools like Colorado State have called, but Thomas says that he hasn't gotten back to anyone yet.

"I know there were a few coaches that called," Thomas said. "I'm going to try and get back with a few of them soon. Recruiting has been pretty much the same though."
Thomas who's currently in spring ball right now is playing a little bit of everything. Though he'll share time at quarterback and running back, he'll also play the free safety position as well.
"I'm playing a little bit of all over," he said. "It's going really good though, we're working hard."
One team that has offered is leading the rest.
"I'd say Kansas State is on top right now," Thomas said. "They're just good people. When I talk to them on the phone, I like what they have to say. Plus, they've got a good secondary and I think I could do real well there."
Thomas hasn't set up any visits at this time.
