Thomas down to final three

Offensive guard Jamie Thomas has narrowed down his list of leaders to three, and while a decision is nearing, he still has to visit one of them. Does he favor one of those schools above the others?
"No, my three favorites are Maryland, Notre Dame and Tennessee and they're all even with each other. After my visit to Notre Dame (Jan. 16) this weekend I'll think about everything I've seen and heard and make a decision within the next week."
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound guard from Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt is rated the No. 13 player at his position in the nation, and all three schools, in addition to North Carolina, NC State and Virginia, have offered a scholarship.
"My visits to Tennessee and Maryland were good experiences and I had a lot of questions answered that I had been thinking about. I could see myself playing at either school.
"I really don't know what to expect at Notre Dame, but I'm sure I'll be impressed with the academics and their tradition."
