Thomas back from ASU trip

Khaylan Thomas picked an outstanding weekend for his first game at Arizona State.
The three-star linebacker from Etiwanda, Calif., has been committed to the Sun Devils since late October and he was one of many top prospects in attendance as Arizona State defeated Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.

It was definitely a memorable trip for the three-star standout.
"It was great," Thomas said. "It was a good experience. The game was amazing. The win over Notre Dame was great. I love how they came together and really pulled it out.
"It is great there especially the student section. We were right next to it. It's really loud and a lot of fun. It was just great overall."
Thomas, who finished with 60 tackles and two interceptions in his senior season, said he had some good talks with the Arizona State coaching staff and he plans to have many more in-depth conversations when he takes his official visit in mid-December.
"It was regular conversation," Thomas said. "They told me they can't wait to get me out there and they talked about the program and the school."
The Etiwanda prospect said he has scheduled his official visit for the weekend of Dec. 13. No other trips are planned at this juncture but Thomas left open the possibility some others could happen. Many other programs have been involved in the past.
In total, Thomas has been offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, Texas Tech, UCLA, Utah and Washington State.
"That's the only visit as of right now," Thomas said.
