Thomas adds his second in-state offer

Another scholarship offer has come in for Winnie (Texas) East Chambers safety prospect Tramain Thomas.
Coach Tony Valastro says that the second offer has come in from Houston after an earlier one from Baylor. One of the more recent trips he's taken to LSU and it appears the Tigers are high on his list.

"I'd have to look at the letters, but I think the offer came in several weeks ago," Valastro said about Thomas' latest offer from Houston. "He had the one from Baylor already. He had a trip planned out there, but he pulled a hamstring in track so he's been taking it easy and sitting out to recuperate."
Thomas took a recent unofficial visit to LSU within the last several weeks. The Tigers haven't offered right now, but Valastro says that his talented defensive prospect is very interested.
"He doesn't say a whole lot, but I've heard him mention them and a lot of others kids here think that's his No. 1 choice," Thomas said. "That's just what I've heard from him.
"LSU, they've been through here and they like him, but that's all I know right now. As far as I know they haven't offered him yet, but they want him to come to the camp. I think for sure he's going to go to the LSU one this summer. Other than that, I'm not sure."
