This Florida RB has big eyes
Marcus Shaw is another elite running back prospect from the Sunshine State. Shaw, 5-8.5 and 187 pounds, is from Arcadia (Fla.) Desoto High School. Last season as a junior he rushed the ball 210 times for 2,380 yards, and 35 touchdowns.
"I have good vision and speed," Shaw said. "Everyone says I have big eyes.. My coach says I am blessed because I see where to run. I see the field so well. I always have and knew it would come in handy. It was like that when I was little and playing running back."

According to Shaw Iowa State, UCF, Tulane, and Syracuse have all offered. The first came from UCF.
"That caught me by surprise me at first because I never thought I would get an offer so early. It came after season was over with."
Despite the four offers it's a school that hasn't offered that Shaw favors at this time.
"Florida is my leader. I just like everything about them. The offense fits me and I like the coaches and players. They are recruiting me hard. So is Clemson.
"I really like all the in-state schools and I would love to stay in State. I want a chance to play or at least get in there. I also want to graduate and get a good degree."
Shaw hopes to camp this summer at FSU, Florida and Clemson. He has visited Florida and hopes to take a trip to Central Florida.
