This Bud to UVA or Marshall

Greenbelt (Md.) Eleanor Roosevelt safety/running back Theirren "Bud" Davis has three official visits set up so far. So where will he be heading?
"Bud has visits set with Duke (Jan. 9), Marshall (Jan. 16) and Virginia (Jan. 23) and he could be setting up a few more soon," said Roosevelt head coach Rick Houchens. "He's really become quite popular of late, especially with some teams needed a kid who could play either way."

Davis, a 6-foot-0, 190-pounder, has offers from all three schools and could set up a couple more trips.
"Florida has been in touch and they want him to visit on Jan. 30.," said Houchens. "They haven't offered yet because they want to wait on a few kids, so I think Bud will end up at either Virginia or Marshall unless the Gators come in before his visits."
Davis was discovered by many coaches checking on recent Maryland commitment Jared Gaither.
"Once schools heard about Jared, they flocked in for film," he said. "They knew about Derrick Harvey and Tre Covington, but they didn't know much about Jared. Then they saw Bud on film and everyone flipped. It's a rare year for us when we have four legit D-1 guys."
