Third offer for Smith

Athlete Nate Smith of Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood had been sitting on his lone offer from South Carolina for a few months, but he recently added a Toledo offer and then on Sunday a third school joined the chase.
"West Virginia offered me," said Smith. "They offered on Sunday night. Coach Kirelawich said that he and the coaches liked my tape very much."

Smith shared a few thoughts about his latest offer.
"I like West Virginia a lot," he said. "I like their defense. It fits me a lot."
Aside from this three offers, Smith claims that Maryland, Temple, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech are the four schools closest to pulling the trigger with an offer.
Smith has yet to visit any schools, but has a few visits in mind.
"I'm definitely going to take some visits," said Smith. "I want to visit West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Appalachian State and I think some more."
Smith mentioned a few qualities he is looking for in a program.
"I'm looking for a BCS team, a great defense and a family," he said.
