Third offer comes for LB Pantale

Wayne (N.J.) Wayne Valley linebacker Christopher Pantale took an unofficial visit last week. Following the trip, the 6-foot-5, 225-pounder added his third scholarship offer.
"I went down to take a visit to Connecticut on Friday," he said. "It was nice and not a bad ride up. I liked the school; they have a nice campus and impressive indoor facilities for the players.

"While I was there, I watched a practice and it was pretty intense. There was a lot of intensity from the coaching staff and they seem like a good bunch of guys. I liked the way they work the ball to their tight ends, that's where they are looking at me most."
On the visit, Pantale met with head coach Randy Edsall.
"I talked to coach Edsall and some of the assistants," he said. "They are a good bunch of guys. Coach Edsall basically told me that he wants me to come to his school and then offered. Overall, I liked the visit and it was impressive."
Where did the visit put the Huskies for the Garden State linebacker?
"I'm not really sure if I'm favoring anyone with all these schools offering. It's tough to say right now," he said. "In relation to the other schools, Connecticut is definitely an option and I'll take it into consideration."
Coming up next for Pantale is an unofficial visit to Boston College sometime soon.
