Third Big Ten camp up for Thomas

Chicago (Ill.) Morgan Park defensive back Marcus Thomas has attended football camps at two Big Ten schools. He will be at his third today.
"I went to Illinois' camp and Iowa's camp," Thomas said. "That's my only two so far. But I go to Wisconsin (today)."
Thomas has at least one more camp in mind after his trip to Madison.
"I plan to go to Michigan State's camp in the middle of July," he said.
Thomas is hoping to land scholarship offers from the Badgers and Spartans.
"Right now I have five offers," he said. "Illinois, Purdue, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, and Boston College have offered."
But those are not his top five choices.
"I like Illinois, Purdue, Iowa, Northern Illinois, and Wisconsin," Thomas said. "That's my top five right now.
"I don't have a favorite. I'm pretty open. I'll decide right before the football season starts."
The 5-foot-11 and 157-pound Thomas made 53 tackles and intercepted six passes during his junior season. Thomas also recovered two fumbles.
