Things still the same for three-star

Three-star linebacker Ryan Panapa (6-2, 245, 4.82) from Ventura (Calif.) Saint Bonaventure was looking forward to his senior and adding to his four offers he has had since the summer.
However unfortunately for Panapa he hasn't played in a game all season due to a fractured foot.

"I will finally get back on the field by the time league starts in two weeks," Panapa said. "We have a bye week coming up and after that I should be ready to go.
Saint Bonaventure has weathered Panapa's absence nicely, standing with a 4-1 record and breaking Westlake (Calif.) Oaks Christian's 48 game winning streak two weeks.
However the Seraphs stubbed their toe against a very tough Encino (Calif.) Crespi team last Friday Night 25-9.
Panapa feels he knows reason why his team fell from the ranks of the unbeaten.
"We came out flat and because so our team was out of sync," Panapa said. "It was a tough lesson, but we learned not to come out flat and hard for four quarters every game.
"Things are still the same recruiting wise since the last time we spoke," Panapa said. "Nothing has changed.
At that time Panapa told Rivals.com that he had four offers on the table from Arizona State, Washington, Nevada and Ole Miss.
Panapa at that time was taking his recruitment slow deciding to concentrate on his senior season instead.
Now that his senior season is about to begin look for things to pick up on the recruiting trail.
In the weight room Panapa is benching 365-pounds, his squat is 435, and he has and a 295-pound power clean. He's also recorded an impressive 33 vertical jump.
As a junior, Panapa is a two-time all-state and a two-time all-league performer. He was an all-CIF selection as a junior after accounting for 121 tackles.
Panapa is a member of the Rivals.com California Top 100 team for the class of 2008 landing as the Golden State's No. 82 prospect at any position.
