Things steady for Texas TE

Hitchcock, Texas tight end Josh Bell continues to hold steady on the recruiting trail.

“Nothing has changed,” the 6-foot-7, 250-pound Bell said. “I’m still looking at the same group of schools.”

Bell’s list of schools is down to six. The schools still under consideration are Syracuse, Wisconsin, Utah, Kansas State, UCLA and Miami.

“Kansas State, Syracuse and Wisconsin have offered out of that group,” he said. “Missouri has also offered.”

Bell has helped his Hitchcock teammates to an unbeaten record in district action.

“We are playing well right now. I am pleased with what we are doing. I’d like to think we can keep it up, and hopefully that is the case. I’ve been playing offensive tackle for the most part this year. Schools are recruiting me as a tight end and a defensive end. If I have my choice, I’d pick tight end,but either of them will work for me.”
