Things silent for Sutton after pledge

Texarkana (Texas) Texas running back Korey Sutton made his college choice in early October. And since then, the recruiting noise has stopped.
“I’m still committed to Arkansas,” the 5-foot-10, 195-pound Sutton said. “Ever since I called them and told them I was coming, I haven’t had anyone call. It has been really quiet since then.”

Sutton has traveled to Arkansas on an unofficial visit, but he is still working on setting up his official trip.
“I am still working to set up an official visit,” he said. “I’m going to get that set up later this month for sometime in January. That looks like the time they want me to come in to see things. So, that will be fine with me.”
Sutton’s visit is beling delayed since his team is still in action.
“We are still playing,” the three-star rated Sutton said. “We are 13-0 on the year. Hopefully we can get a few more wins and take home a title. But, we need to focus on our next game. We have North Crowley this weekend. I don’t know a lot about them yet. I’m sure our coaches have started work on that and we’ll find out all we need to know in practice this week.”
Through the season’s first 13 games, Sutton has rushed for 1,436 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also has racked up 347 receiving yards.
“I was handling punt and kick returns for our team. But, they took me off of the punt returns. They felt I needed to come off the field after defense to get ready for offense and catch a little breather before going back on the field.”
