Things quiet on the Rudd front

Cuero, Texas fullback J.T. Rudd is a player with his focus on the team, rather than his own recruiting process. He is even keeping things quiet on his offer count until he can make some visits and narrow things down.
After winning big in the first round of the playoffs, the 6-foot-1, 226-pound Rudd is now looking at the next step toward a state title. It's obvious what his mind is on at this stage of the season.

"I'm trying to stay focused," Rudd said. "I've got coaches calling me, but I'm trying to keep my mind on the season. I receive phone calls every week from Houston, Southern Miss, Texas State, Memphis, and Baylor."
Rudd won't say who he has offers from other than the previously known one from Houston.
"I want to keep things quiet right now," Rudd said. "I'm keeping open right now and there are a lot of coaches talking about offers."
On the other hand, the two-star prospect has spent time putting together some visits even though the dates are not dead set.
"I know off the top of my head that I'm visiting Memphis in the middle of December," Rudd said. "In the beginning of January, I'm heading to Houston. I don't know the dates really right now."
"I have just liked what the coaches have talked with me about at Houston, and I've been there once, so I want to see if a second time."
