Things picking up for Worley
Calhoun, Ga. wide receiver Kris Durham scored an early offer from the Georgia Bulldogs and jumped all over it. He gets most of the publicity, but someone has to be putting the ball on the money and that someone is quarterback Cody Worley.
"I don't have any new offers, still just the one from Ball State, but a lot of new schools are starting to show interest," Worley said. "I have been getting calls from South Carolina, Vanderbilt and UAB," Worley said. "All three of those stay in touch weekly."

THe 6-foot-1, 209-pound Worley attended the NIKE camp in Athens where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.85 seconds, the shuttle in 4.19 seconds and posted a 27-inch vertical jump.
"South Carolina keeps telling me that they are keeping a close eye on me," Worley said. "Coach Hill is recruiting me and he told me that they might sign three or four quarterbacks this year because of their depth chart. I just sent them some senior tape the other day and he said that they haven't watched it yet, but when they did that maybe he could get me an offer."
As a junior he completed 81 of 163 passes for 1,621 yards and 23 touchdowns with just four interceptions.
"Right now Vanderbilt and South Carolina are my top two schools," Worley said. "Vanderbilt told me that they have one commitment already and they said they may take another guy and that if they decide to that I am definitely on their board. They said they would keep evaluating me through this year."
Worley projects as a full academic qualifier with a 3.5 GPA and a 1060 SAT score already in the bag.
