Things picking up for Dale

Andrew Dale from Morehead City (N.C.) West Cateret is a 6-foot-2 and 265-pound offensive guard and nose tackle that is putting together a solid senior season. Dale wishes that his team was having a better year, but he's making the most of it trying to be an anchor in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
"Our season as a team isn't going so well," Dale said. "We just came off the best record the school has had and right now we're 2-7. I'm having a pretty good season. I'm an offensive and defensive lineman and play mostly on the offensive side of the ball, but on defense I have 49 tackles with 6 tackles for loss."

The solid season has paid off. Dale has three offers already and took a trip to a school a week ago that could offer at some point. Dale says that he knows what he would like to major in and that will definitely factor into his college decision.
"I have a few offers already," Dale said. "I have offers from North Carolina Central, Wingate, and Lenoir Rhyne. I took a visit to ECU last weekend. I am really looking to major either in homeland security or criminal justice in college."
Dale is doing what he needs for his team now and playing a little out of position when it comes to where he will likely play at the next level. Dale will need to move inside in college and says that he does have a preference which side of the football he would choose to play.
"I play right tackle for my school and nose guard in high school right now," Dale said. "I would really prefer to play on the offensive side of the football, probably at offensive guard, in college."
