Things picking up for Anderson
Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson running back Andre Anderson started the recruiting process by getting an early offer from Georgia Tech. Things slowed down for Anderson for a while, but now things have picked up significantly.
"I have gotten calls from Stanford, Georgia Tech, Southern Miss, Ball State, Tulane, Central Michigan, Eastern Kentucky and Boston College already this month," Anderson said. "I still have two offers right now from Stanford and Georgia Tech."

Anderson attended the Athens NIKE camp in May where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds, the shuttle in four seconds and posted a 33-inch vertical jump.
"I have been to two Georgia Tech games this year," Anderson said. "I went there for the North Carolina and North Carolina State game. I am not going anywhere this weekend that I know of, but I may try to get a game somewhere next weekend. I am still deciding on where I will take my official visits. I know that I will take on to Stanford and I will probably try to take on to Boston College."
As a junior Anderson carried the ball 158 times for 1,042 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged 6.6 yards per carry.
"My top schools are Georgia Tech, Boston College, Stanford, Michigan, Tulane and Virginia Tech are my top schools," Anderson said. "I am going to try to wait and take my visits before I decide, I just have to figure out when I want to start taking these."
