Things not changing for top-rated fullback

Lufkin, Texas, fullback Jorvorskie Lane continues to wait on the recruiting trail while coaches are not able to talk to him.
“It really has been kind of slow,” the 6-foot-1, 240-pound Lane said. “Nothing new has really come up. I didn’t go to any camps this summer either. So, it has been just working toward the season.”

The recruiting trail so far for nation’s No. 1 ranked fullback has left him with five schools at the top of his list that are vying for his talents; Oklahoma State, Texas, Washington State, Texas A&M and Oklahoma.
“I have offers from all of them,” he said. “I don’t really favor any one of them over any of the others, right now. I’m just ready for the season and then I’ll take my visits and them make a choice.”
As a junior, Lane rushed for 1,320 yards and 24 scores while playing both fullback and running back for Lufkin.
