Things looking good for Eldrenkamp

Jake Eldrenkamp has four offers but the Medina (Wash.) Bellevue offensive tackle played so well in his team's win over Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian that many more schools could get involved soon.
Coaches from some Pac-12 schools have especially grown interested in Eldrenkamp, who said he needs to send updated film to them soon.

After performing so well against Oaks Christian and facing powerhouse Sammamish (Wash.) Skyline this weekend things could really be looking up for the three-star prospect.
"I'm really impressed with how we played," Eldrenkamp said after the 31-21 decision against Oaks Christian. "I didn't come out the way I wanted to in the first half but in the second half I made up my mind and played the way I wanted to play.
"We wanted to be more physical than them because we knew we could be even though they had more talent on their team. That's how we play every Friday night. We just try to be the most physical team in the state of Washington and on the West Coast.
"It's going to start picking up. A lot of coaches have been calling me and asking for this week's tape and next week's tape against Skyline and we'll see where it goes from there."
Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State, Utah, Yale and Princeton have been in contact with Eldrenkamp, rated as the No. 13 prospect in the Washington state rankings by Rivals.com. So far, Oregon State, Utah, Yale and Brown have offered.
He doesn't have a favorite yet because the Bellevue standout wants to take official visits to figure out which place he likes most.
"I don't have a leader yet," Eldrenkamp said. "I'm not going to pick a school just by watching them play. I want to meet the people and meet the players and the coaches and then I'll decide."
No official visits have been scheduled yet but Eldrenkamp said he would like to take trips to Utah, Oregon State and Yale and getting to Washington State is also under serious consideration.
