Things heating up for Reggie Dunn

Los Angeles (Calif.) Verbum Dei wide out Reggie Dunn is going to have some very tough choices to make in the next week or so. While the athlete has yet to take any of his official visits, he does have two set for later this month and one super heavyweight is hoping to join the party as well.
Dunn, 5-9, 160 pounds is as talented as any receiver prospect in the state. He has great speed, runs well after the catch and has the ability to score from anywhere on the field. Things were a little slow on the recruiting side early on but they have definitely picked up in recent weeks.

“Things are definitely getting interesting for me,” Dunn said. “I was supposed to visit Washington this weekend but when Coach Yarber left for Arizona State, I stopped hearing from them. ASU will be coming by the school next week and is trying to get me out for a visit.
“Right now, I have a visit set with Oregon State for (Jan. 19) and Arizona for (Jan. 26). USC has also been recruiting me the last couple of weeks and wants me to take a visit that same weekend I’m going to Oregon State and I really don’t know what I’m going to do.
“USC hasn’t offered me yet and Oregon State has. I like SC, but at the same time, I don’t want to cancel out on Oregon State, trip to SC and then not be offered and risk having Oregon State drop me. I want to talk with SC again and see where I stand with them and see what they’re thinking.
“I’m going to talk to my dad about maybe taking an unofficial visit up there during the week and that might be a good chance to get some of my questions answered. Right now, I’m just open to all these schools that are recruiting me. Oregon State and Washington are my only firm offers and I haven’t heard from UW in awhile.
“I think there’s a good chance Arizona offers me when I visit and I’m also curious to see what ASU says next week. Oregon is another school that offered early on but I haven’t heard from them in awhile so I guess they decided to go in a different direction. I’ll probably wait until around Signing Day before I make my decision.”
