Things heat up for Rolf

Piqua, Ohio, linebacker David Rolf proved he's one of Ohio's better players this season and now the college coaches from all over the nation are flocking to the Midwest to check him out.
After visiting Ball State in early December, he took another visit this past weekend to Vanderbilt.

It looks like it won't be his last visit, though.
"David's trip to Vandy went real well," his father, Brian Rolf, said. "He's looking forward to his trip to Utah this weekend."
But that's not the only big news for Rolf, who has offers from Air Force, Utah, Vanderbilt, Ball State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and others.
"Oregon called and will have him out there the following weekend," Rolf said.
"Coach Gray, from Oregon, is supposed to call him today and offer. Michigan State is calling a lot now, but no offer yet at this time so anything could happen there."
A two-way standout for the Piqua Indians, Rolf racked up 117 tackles with 28 tackles for loss, six sacks and three interceptions at linebacker while also catching 30 passes for 540 yards and six touchdowns at receiver.
