Things getting clearer for five-star

Five-star wide receiver David Ausberry (6-4, 213, 4.64) from Lemoore has everything that D-I schools desire in wide receiver prospect. Though he plays for a predominately running team he still is racking up respectable stats.
In five games Ausberry has approximately 15 receptions for 300 yards and five receiving touchdowns.
The talented five-star receiver usually draws a crowd of two or three defenders on every play. It is truly a rare occasion when Ausberry is left to single coverage.

Ausberry was a one-man wreaking crew in his last contest last Friday Night when he scored three touchdowns. Two of his touchdowns came through the air and on was on a 50-yard jaunt on a reverse play.
The ever popular Ausberry is a hit with colleges and he's already taken two visits. He visited Nebraska when the Cornhuskers took on Wake Forest and Ohio State when the Buckeyes played Iowa.
"Both visits were a lot of fun," Ausberry said. "I especially liked the games."
"The fans at both schools make you feel at home," Ausberry said. "It was a great environment to be around."
Ausberry has another visit set but to Georgia but wasn't sure of the date. "My visit to Georgia is within the next two weeks."
Ausberry is currently looking at six schools. They are the before mentioned Nebraska, Ohio State and Georgia. The other schools include USC, Notre Dame and Michigan.
As it stands now, Ausberry will visit USC with one of his last two visits so the last trip will be a classic Notre Dame/Michigan battle.
Ausberry was an all-league and all-area performer as a junior. He caught 35 passes for 850 yards and scored 12 touchdowns through the air. He also returned two kickoffs for scores.
