Newport News (Va.) Heritage running back Mike Johnson entered his official visit at Virginia this weekend unsure if the Cavs could compare to the Hurricanes. He's sure about it now.
"The visit was great," said the 5-foot-10, 180-pound star. "I had an awesome time and I was really surprised about UVA. There were alot of things I didn't know about and I was very impressed -- more impressed than I thought I would be."
So how did it compare to his Miami visit?
"Miami was off the hook and was still my best visit," he said. "But Virginia is home and they can offer alot of things Miami can't. It's going to be a tough decision."
Johnson hopes to take this week off to relax and not worry about recruiting. He'll then make a decision sometime after that or close to Signing Day.
"Right now it's dead even," he said. "I don't know how I'll decide between them."
