The Roadies: DMV area showcase

Davis is one of the top ranked players in the country for a reason and he showed why on Saturday. He won all of his reps during one-on-ones using his strong base and good hand placement. On his very first rep, Taron Vincent's strength surprised Davis but he quickly adjusted his feet and anchored down to win the rep. Davis, a Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour participant, has a number of top schools but mentioned that one school he would like to visit this offseason is Florida.
Physical Specimen
LB Nathan Proctor (2017), Indian Head (Md.) Lackey
Proctor hasn't competed in many events this offseason but after his performance on Saturday, it's not surprising schools like Georgia, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and others have already offered. He is every bit the 6-foot-3 he is listed and is closer to 220 pounds than 210 pounds. Proctor has great length but is still very quick twitch.
Fastest
ATH Darryl Turner, Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha
Turner's speed and athleticism are undeniable. He was playing as a wide receiver on Saturday and if the Maryland commit was able to get a clean break off the line of scrimmage there was no way the defensive back was going to back able to stick with him. Turner won nearly all of his reps and all of the top defensive backs were lining up to get their shot at him.
Underclassman Achievement
DL Taron Vincent (2018), Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School
Vincent is one of the best young defensive linemen in the country. His burst at the snap and overall strength is already too much for many of the older offensive linemen to handle. Vincent holds offers from Wisconsin, Ohio State, Maryland, Michigan and others already and if he keeps progressing many more offers will surely be on the way.
Sleeper Alert
DB Damon Hayes, Upper Marlboro (Md.) Wise
Hayes is a big defensive back with great length and pretty good footwork. He made his fair share of plays on Saturday but the most impressive thing about him is his quickness for being that tall and long, and the fact that his instincts are above average. Maryland is the biggest school showing interest in him so far but expect Hayes to go to camps to try to get offers.
Hello World
OL Evan Gregory (2018), Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School
Gregory played defensive end on Saturday and is already pretty explosive off the line of scrimmage. He has a great frame and as he fills out, Gregory's long arms will be very attractive to college coaches looking for a left tackle. Expect to hear Gregory's name a lot more as his recruiting process starts to take off.
