The Rivals.com Super West 60

The Western Region is always loaded with football talent and 2003 is no different. To grade a top 60 prospects is an almost impossible task in any given year, but even more so for the class of 2004.
But that’s the job that Rivals.com West analyst Rick Kimbrel has done with The Rivals.com Super West 60.

The separation between players this season is almost seamless. There could be arguments one player to rated higher or lower than another. The talent level is that close this season.
The state of Washington has an outstanding group of linemen, while Arizona is like a mini-California. The Grand Canyon State has a good balance of skill and brawn in good numbers across the table.
Oregon too has a solid class while Hawaii is somewhat down this season.
California, led by five-star safety Randy Estes, once again is a one stop shop gets everything you want for colleges. There is good depth across the board, but there are many questions that need to be answered.
There are plenty of quarterbacks who are flying under the radar out west that are very talented but are unknown because they will enter the season as first year starters.
Be on the lookout for new names to emerge across the board. The Super West 60 will be updated twice a recruiting season – once in August and then again in January.
