The price is right for Oregon State

In a surprise move there has been another de-commitment in the Pac10 and once again Oregon State is the lucky recipient. Yesterday the Beavers received the commitment from longtime USC commit Lamar Herron and this time it is longtime UCLA linebacker commit three-star Will Price (6-3, 240, 4.7) from Anaheim (Calif.) Western.
This Bruin committal has been on shaky ground for a while but ASU was always projected as the school of second choice if Price didn’t go to UCLA.

In the end the Oregon State Beavers are the surprise winner for the talented linebacker from Western high school.
“The Beavers were the first team to offer me,” Price said. “They are also a team that is on the rise. Oregon State has been in four bowl games over the last five years.”
“On my visit to Oregon State,” Price said. “All the coaches treated me great. Not that the coaches from the other schools didn’t, but there was a difference at Oregon State.”
“My parents liked the coaches at Oregon State a lot, too,” Price said.
Price was an all-league selection as a senior after racking up 102 tackles, two picks and one sack.
Oregon State wins the services of Price over ASU and UCLA.
