The offers continue to rise for Bynes

When you're hot, you're hot. That's the story for many prospects in the spring evaluation period, but it's especially true for Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) Boyd Anderson quarterback Herb Bynes. He went from having only two scholarship offers at last month's NIKE Training Camp in Miami to now having seven offers to pick from.
Bynes, who measured at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds at the Miami NIKE Camp, had offers from Duke and Kansas. But after May calls and coaches visiting his school he said he has quite a few more.

"I have offers now from Ole Miss, UCF, Auburn, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Kansas and Duke," said Bynes, who clocked a 4.95-second time in the 40-yard dash at the camp. "I've had a lot of calls too. I've talked to Auburn, Mississippi, Wisconsin, UCF, Kansas and Florida. Those are just the ones that I can remember because I've gotten a lot of calls."
Bynes said he's solely focused on spring ball right now and that recruiting isn't even a blip on his radar screen.
"It's too early to be talking about favorites," he said. "I'm just trying to work hard and get better. I'd say the biggest thing that I need to improve on is my steps. If I can get them down, then I think I can be a really good quarterback on the next level."
