Position: Quarterback
Size and speed: Mike is very tall at 6-foot-5 and weighs in at 220 pounds. He runs a 5.0-second 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Last season Mike passed for 1,800 yards with 21 touchdowns. He completed 96 of 173 passes for a 55-percent average. He had an 18.75-yards-per-completion average and only threw five interceptions -- one interception for every 34 attempts.
Honors: n/a
Favorite Schools: Going into the summer, Mike has no real favorite at this time, but has received a lot of interest from Rutgers, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Boston College, Maryland, Oregon and others.
Skinny: A pure pro-style quarterback with a very strong and accurate arm, Mike is being compared with the likes of Ken Dorsey of Miami and he has the stats to back it up.
Mike is surely one of the top quarterback prospects in the east and he has caught the eye of many college recruiters. His style of play is that of a drop-back, read and release gunslinger and he is very smart when it comes to reading defenses. Look for Mike to try to land a scholarship at a school that likes to throw from the pocket.
"I feel that my strength is throwing the ball. I'd rather stand in the pocket for an extra second then just take off running."
