My football career began at 6 years old for the Dacula Falcons in the Gwinnett Football League (GFL) in Georgia. The GFL has some of the most talented youth football players in the country. My Dacula Falcons team won the Gwinnett County Championship six years in a row. Playing for Dacula in this league taught me how to compete at a high level and play football the right way.

When my youth football days were done, I was fortunate enough to start my high school career playing for coach Tommy Jones and the Dacula Falcons. In this community the motto is “One Family, One Dacula” and football is a way of life. In high school I was moved up to varsity as a freshman, but it was my sophomore season that I really made an impact.

Under the direction of defensive coordinator coach Clint Jenkins, I was able to lead the region with five interceptions and 12 pass breakups and I had over 40 tackles. Coach Jones also allowed me to play receiver and some quarterback. I enjoyed making an impact on both sides of the ball to help my team be successful. Our Dacula team won the region title last year and is currently in first place this season. At Dacula High, I have the best coaches and teammates in high school football.

Football has become a platform for me to build life-long relationships and strengthen my faith. My family has always told me that God has blessed me with special gifts and talent. They have encouraged me to use my blessings for God’s purpose. The game of football has allowed me to do what I love and influence others to reach their full potential.

During my recruitment process, I have received offers from some of the top football programs across the nation. I have also developed great relationships with several coaches from these programs. Unfortunately, you can only choose one school to attend. When deciding on a school, academics was a major consideration because my education has always been the top priority for me and my family. In addition, I wanted to attend a school where the coaches have created a culture of excellence on and off the field.

Growing up, my cousin Tavarres King was someone who inspired me to use the game of football to reach my dreams. My life experiences have led me to choose the school that I have watched since I was little. This school has the best fan base in the country, a winning tradition, and plays on Saturdays between the hedges.

With this being said, I am excited to announce that I am officially committed to the University of Georgia.

GO DAWGS!!!
