The Nations No. 1 QB receives calls

The nation’s number one quarterback Kyle Wright (6-4, 205, 4.65) from Danville (Calif.) Monte Vista as many of you know has narrowed down his list of schools to three.
The talented signal-caller heard from two of them and it is certain the third Tennessee will call.

Miami should get an award for creativity. The Hurricanes called the Wright household at 9:01 PST. “I was kind of shocked when (QB) Coach Werner called,” Wright said. “The it was 9:01 our time and I realized back in Miami it was after midnight and officially September 1st. They sure are on top of things.”
The Trojans called at about 11:00 AM PST on September 1st. “I talked to several different coaches and they just wanted to reiterate how USC felt about me,” Wright said. “They just wanted to tell how much they want me to be a Trojan.”
“It is still very even between the three all three schools are very similar,” Wright said. “All three have great programs with tradition and outstanding coaching staffs.”
What does Wright like about his three finalists?
USC – “I know the USC coaches the best,” Wright said. “I get along with the entire coaching staff. I can walk up and talk to the tight end coach or the defensive line coach just as easily with the QB coach. SC also has great tradition.”
Miami – “Like USC Miami’s coaches are great,” Wright said. “The Canes are the defending national champs and they are always in the hunt. They produce great players and I think it would be a great place to play football. It is big time football and they are always on TV.”
Tennessee – “I think Knoxville is what a college should be,” Wright said. “The Vols have great fan support; the fans bleed orange. The stadium is the best I’ve seen and I like the coaches and the players.”
“I will probably make my decision in the next week or two.
Currently Wright is getting ready for his season opener which will be on September 13th.
A decision could be before that date.
Stay tuned…
