The latest with R250 DB Hamlin

Damar Hamlin is one of the top remaining uncommitted defensive backs in the country. The Rivals250 prospect from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic has a top four and visited two of them within the past week.
"We drove up to Penn State and left right after the game for Halloween," said the 6-foot-1, 179-pound Hamlin. "I thought they played well. That was one of their best coached games. Saquon Barkley is a dog. I really didn't get to talk to the coaching staff much because we got to the game later than we wanted. We got to say a quick hello before the game started but other than that we didn't talk much. We didn't stay for the full game because we didn't want to get stuck in traffic going back for Halloween. They're definitely near the top of my list. Penn State is everything you could want in a college."

On Thursday of last week Hamlin attended Pittsburgh's game against North Carolina.
"I've been getting a lot of pressure about Pitt," he said. "It's getting to me a little bit. I went to the game on Thursday. It was good. I thought they played pretty well. The atmosphere is definitely improving but it's not at where I would like it for me to fully want to be there because, even at my high school games, it's always packed and the stands are full and loud. I wouldn't want to go to college and get less. I'm trying to go to another Pitt game soon. One thing that gets to me is that I get more tweets from Pitt fans than anyone else but nobody really shows up to the games. It's a little confusing. I feel like everyone in this city loves you when you're up but as soon as you first fail everyone turns on you. That's just something I take into consideration too."
Notre Dame and Ohio State round out Hamlin's top four.
Notre Dame- "I wanted to take an official visit to them early because I wanted to see a good game and USC was their last good home game," Hamlin said. "I like how Notre Dame can affect my life and the opportunities they can open for me if I went there and graduated. I definitely feel like I would fit in there really well. I feel like coach Lyght is a really good coach and he could really help with my skills."
Ohio State- "I love Ohio State," he said. "I really do. They're playing great football. The attitude of the team, the coaches, the way the coaches coach and all of that is great. I'm actually going up there for the Michigan State game. I'm still deciding if that will be an official or unofficial visit."
Hamlin said that he has no leader and no real timetable for a decision.
