The Jones show

Try not to lose track because Rivals100 defensive end Richetti Jones is getting overloaded with offers.
The 6-foot-3, 234-pounder isn't confused about what time of year it is. With the spring evaluation period in full effect, colleges have been showing up at his practice in a big way. Texas, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Florida, and Arkansas are just a few that he's noticed standing on the sidelines.

Jones will tell you that each day he walked off the field, his coach told him about a new offer.
"Well, let's see, Florida State offered me this week," Jones said. "Florida and Arkansas did too. It's crazy man. Everybody has been there. I also found out Charlie Weis is coming tomorrow. It's hard to notice everybody and I know I'm missing a few schools in there.
"It's tough to remember."
Scholarship offers, on top of his new ones, have also come in from Texas, Baylor, LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M just to name a few. But the talented Jones is not getting greedy.
He's feeling the pressure and wishes he could share some of the love with his teammates.
"I can't go to all of these schools," Jones said. "I know that and there really isn't much I can do about it. I wish I could. In fact, I wish I could give my boys some scholarship offers."
Having so many options has also made him slow down to take a look around before committing. Though he seemed close to deciding early on, things are getting pushed way back.
Jones has gone from having a few leaders to a large group. His group includes "Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Florida, Notre Dame, Southern Cal, and LSU." A decision could be a very late one.
"If I don't graduate in December, which I'm planning to do, than I might go until Signing Day," Jones said. "I know everybody is going to have competition out there and I'm not worried about that. I'm just taking a look at the chart to see what they've got coming back.
"Some people want to commit early and they jump on the bandwagon with everyone else. It's almost caused me to look around more and just step back a little bit."
