The hottest target in Texas

Carrollton (Texas) Creekview strongside defensive end Jeremy Beal might be the hottest target in all of the Lone Star State.
After flying under the radar screen early in the process, the 6-foot-2, 243-pounder has blown up with offers from some of the nation's top programs and he was recently promoted to four-star status on Tuesday.

Early on teams like Baylor, Duke, Wyoming and Central Michigan were on his offer list, and now it's also occupied by teams like Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and several others.
"Oklahoma and Texas A&M are just now jumping into the mix," Beal, the nation's No. 19 strongside defensive end, said. "A&M hasn't offered me yet, but Oklahoma just did. I got to meet with the coaches when they came by today. They wanted me to come up for an official visit this weekend.
"I'll probably take it."
Beal has already visited Alabama, Arkansas and Duke. The Oklahoma visit would be his fourth visit and he's talking about visiting either TCU or Oklahoma State with the final trip. Beal had impressive things to say about his trips to Bama and Arkansas, and he mentioned that the Duke visit surprised him a little bit.
"I thought it was just going to be some nerdy people, but this last week it was people just like me - more balanced people," Beal said. "I liked it a lot. The coaches were good. The atmosphere was good. The campus was pretty beautiful man. I loved it. I loved the campus."
Beal said he does not have a leader at this point, and he plans to make a decision after he takes all five of his visits. He said he does have an ideal what he's looking for in the perfect school.
"Education is probably No. 1, but No. 2 is probably coaches and the players – how I fit in with them," Beal said. "The strength and conditioning program, I want to be in a strong program so I can get better as a player. Fourth is location.
"I have some good choices with Alabama, Arkansas, OU, OSU, TCU and Duke. I think I can't go wrong."
