The battle for five-star Jackson (Miss.) defensive back
Quinton Culberson will apparently go
down to the wire.
"He's taking his last official visit to USM today, so
you can tell it's still pretty open for him," said Provine High School coach
Willie Collins. "He's kept things pretty quiet. It was looking like Ole Miss or
Mississippi State there for a while, but I think LSU is still in there. I know
he's been very impressed with them and the way they've stayed with him.
"His mother told me they'd probably sit down and try to
make a decision by Monday. I think they'd like to get it over with and not be
worried about it on those last two days."
Another Provine coach, assistant Leon Sherrod, said
Culberson had told him he planned to give his decision on Friday, but was still
torn between the three SEC schools.
Culberson (6-2, 205, 4.5) is a
Rivals100 team member and the No.
2 rated safety in this nation.
