The Cardinal makes ND see red

Rivals100 has learned that four star running back David Marrero (5-10, 188, 4.3) from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas has de-committed from Notre Dame and has committed to Stanford.
Marrero is one of the best all-purpose backs in the nation and had 24 offers before he committed to Notre Dame.

Marrero took a visit to Stanford and was sold on the direction that the program is going and made the hard decision to switch from Notre Dame to Stanford.
Marrero was injured with a strained MCL for his senior season but still rushed for over 600 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. He also had 12 receptions for 120 yards. His injury is now 100% healed.
Marrero brings a lot of versatility to the table. He could play running back, wide receiver/slot-back or defensive back for the Cardinal.
More on this development later.
