The Buffs enter picture for Ohio RB

Groveport Madison (Ohio) High School running back Leveon Bell is hearing from more schools, now that his high school career is over. Last week, Colorado entered the mix of schools interested in the 6-foot-1, 208 pound back.
"Colorado called me last Tuesday, and I am still speaking with Ohio State," Bell said. Coach [Darian] Hagan, the running back coach at Colorado, is recruiting me. They want me as a running bak, and they have sen my senior film and liked it. They said they would call sometime this week. Coach Hagan is going to show my film to the offensive coordinator and head coach, then I will hear back. I will take an official visit there if I get an offer."

Bell is from Reynoldsburg, a suburb of Columbus. Naturally, Bell has plenty of interest in Ohio State.
"I have been to Ohio State a bunch of times," Bell said. "I just went to the Iowa game. I was nice and a good atmosphere. They are recruiting me as a running back. They are not sure if they would offer soon, maybe sometime in January. They have to see how things come along. But they do want me to save an official visit for them. I am open to all schools, but I do like Ohio State."
Bell said he has used any of his official visits yet. He is set for Bowling Green on December 4th.
Groveport-Madison narrowly missed the Ohio Division 1 playoffs, finishing 9th in its region's computer standings. The top eight teams qualify.
"We missed the playoffs by three-tenths of a point," Bell said. "We finished the season 6-4. I had about 1,400 yards rushing and 24 touchdowns."
