The Big O heads to the ACC

Alief (Texas) Hastings four-star defensive tackle Vince Oghobaase has picked future outside of football, books and playing time over playing for a national power. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound four-star defensive tackle just alerted coaches this morning that he's heading to the ACC.
Oghobaase committed to Duke earlier this morning, picking the Devils over a host of national programs.

"I'm not really surprised Duke has been on him since day one," Luker said.
"A&M kind of came in late. Academically he could not do any better, and that's very important to he and his family. We had Rodrique Wright, who is at Texas now, and at this stage, I think Vincent is a little ahead of him."
Oghobaase, ranked as the nation's No. 17 defensive tackle, would easily be the top recruit in the Blue Devils' class of 2005.
He picked the Blue Devils over offers from Arizona, Miami, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. He visited Durham back on December 3.
